Day 1: Hue – Hoi An
8:00 AM pick up from your hotel in Hue. Today provides a classic day of Vietnam cycling, starting just outside of Hue and following a picturesque, peninsular road to Cau Hai lagoon, cycling along Thuan An beach. Then join up with legendary Highway 1 for three intense climbs. After the hard work, you’re rewarded with a swim at Lang Co Beach and refuel with lunch as there is one more hill of the day – the Hai Van Pass. Transfer the remainder of the distance by van into Hoi An for the night.

Day 2: Hoi An – My Son heritage
Transfer out for a challenging ride from the outskirts of Hoi An on a quiet back road to the famous Cham Towers of My Son. The ride is through a remote area where very few tourists venture, and is surrounded by stunning views. You will arrive tired but triumphant at these most wonderful towers and enjoy a picnic lunch before transferring back to Hoi An, free to explore Hoi An and free for dinner. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 03: Hoi An – Quang Ngai
Start biking from your hotel to Cua Dai beach, cycle past fishing villages, and along beautiful coastal trails to Tam Ky. Stop for lunch in this town, have a short transfer to Chau O after lunch. Begin cycling in the afternoon on back roads to visit a memorial at My Lai, the site of the infamous My Lai Massacre in which 504 people died in 1968. Overnight in Quang Ngai

Day 04: Quang Ngai – Qui Nhon
In the morning, transfer 2 hours to Tam Quang, the central Vietnam coconut homeland. Ride through mountainous regions where both sides of the roads are filled with rice fields and beautiful rural villages.  Ride by coconut tree plantations by the ocean. Have lunch at Binh Duong. Then continue in the afternoon, riding on quiet spectacular scenic coastal roads to Qui Nhon city.

Day 05: Qui Nhon – Gia Lai
Today, the bike ride is really hard.  We start to ride from the seaside at Qui Nhon province to the central high province at Gia Lai (Pleiku), which is about 1000 meters above sea level. Enjoy an hour ride through rolling hills on back roads to Tay Son village, the homeland of the Nguyen Hue king. Stop to visit his memorial and continue riding uphill to An Khe Pass. Lunch at An Khe town, transfer to Pleiku town in the afternoon.

Day 06: Gia Lai, Pleiku – Ban Me Thuoc, Daklak
Buon Me Thuot in the central highlands is a famous coffee region and the home to ethnic minorities. In the morning we will cycle gentle rolling hills along the Ho Chi Minh highway to Bon Ho, having lunch en route. In the afternoon, we will continue pedaling on smooth roads with spectacular views on both sides of the road and pass many minority villages. Overnight in a minority’s house.

Day 07: Ban Me Thuoc – Dalat
The biking of today is hard but the scenery so beautiful all the long way. Have a transfer to a beautiful waterfall, then riding on back road to Lak Lake. Then cycling to Krong No and ride rolling hills to Dalat city in the late afternoon.

Day 08: Dalat city tour
Spend a whole day visiting the city of honeymoon. Visit the Bao Dai King -Summer Palace, Thien Vien Truc Lam pagoda, and colorful market in the morning and biking through the greenhouse, vegetable plantation in the afternoon.

Day 09: Dalat – Nam Cat Tien
Leave the city of flower at 8:00 in the morning, enjoy 2 hours driving to the countryside of Bao Loc, the city of coffee and tea. Cycle on the very quiet back road to Managua. In the late afternoon, cycle 20 km on a trail through the mountainous area to Nam Cat Tien. Enjoy 4 wheels drive trip into the forest to see wild animals. Overnight in the park.

Day 10: Nam Cat Tien – Saigon
